Musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy
Whether you’re preparing for orthopaedic surgery, rebuilding strength afterwards, or managing pain and injury from daily life, sport, or work, we are here to help you move with confidence again.
-

Pre-Operative Orthopaedic Preparation
We work closely with patients awaiting joint, spine, and soft-tissue surgeries to optimise strength, mobility, and overall conditioning before the procedure. Evidence shows that good preparation—“pre-hab”—supports smoother recovery, reduces post-operative pain, and helps you return to activity sooner. Your programme will be tailored to your specific surgery and your personal goals.
-

Post-Operative Orthopaedic Recovery
After surgery, the right rehabilitation makes all the difference to getting the most benefit from the procedure. We provide structured, progressive physiotherapy to restore movement, rebuild strength, and support healing at each stage of your post-operative pathway, with an individualised focus on your personal goals. Whether you’ve had joint replacement, ligament reconstruction, spinal surgery, or other orthopaedic procedures, we guide you safely back to everyday life, work, and the activities you enjoy.
-

Musculoskeletal Injuries
Injuries can happen anywhere — during everyday activity, sport, exercise, hobbies or work. We assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions, such as strains, sprains, overuse injuries, joint and muscle pain, back and neck pain, and nerve pain. With a blend of treatments and personalised guidance, we help you understand the injury and return to your activities with confidence.

Pre-operative physiotherapy ("prehab") helps improve strength, mobility and confidence whilst reducing anxiety/apprehension by preparing you for what to expect before surgery. Evidence shows that patients who complete prehab often recover faster and have better post-operative outcomes, because being prepared is easier than reacting to the situation after the event.
-
Prehab is recommended for knee replacement, hip replacement, rotator cuff repair, ACL reconstruction, meniscal repair, tibial osteotomy, and sub-acromial decompression.
-
Sessions include personalised exercises to improve joint range, muscle strength, balance, cardiovascular fitness and relaxation/stress management. There’s also focus on mobility, activity pacing, understanding the procedure, and what to expect after surgery. Where needed, education on walking aids and how to complete daily tasks comfortably/safely is also included.
-
Most patients benefit from 2–6 sessions, depending on the surgery type, current fitness level, and post-operative goals.
-
