Cancellation Policy
We understand that life - and health - can be unpredictable. Our aim is to be as fair and supportive as possible, whilst also protecting appointment times for all patients.
Booking your appointment
Appointments are reserved especially for you and are designed to feel calm, collaborative, and unhurried.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Payment details will be provided at the time of booking, and your appointment will be confirmed once the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance is payable at your appointment.
Changing or rescheduling your appointment
We kindly ask for as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule your appointment.
More than 48 hours’ notice → your deposit can be transferred to a rescheduled appointment
Less than 48 hours’ notice → your deposit will be retained
Missed appointments/Did Not Attend
If you do not attend your appointment and we have not been informed in advance, your deposit will be retained.
If you are unwell or experiencing symptoms
If you are feeling unwell with symptoms such as flu or other illnesses, we kindly ask that you do not attend your appointment in person.
We recognise that gynaecology symptoms can sometimes make it difficult to leave the house. Where appropriate, your appointment may be converted to a virtual consultation, allowing you to still receive support and guidance without needing to attend in person.
If you feel too unwell to engage in a consultation in any format, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always endeavour to approach these situations with care and understanding.
Exceptional circumstances may be considered at Hera Health’s sole discretion.
Late arrival
If you arrive late, we will do our best to support you within the remaining time available. Your session may need to be shortened to avoid impacting other patients, and the full appointment fee will still apply.
If we are running late, we will always aim to ensure you receive your full appointment time wherever possible.

Deposit timing
Deposits should be received within 24 hours of booking to secure your appointment. If payment is not received, the appointment may be released.
Future bookings
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require full payment in advance for future bookings.
